We have always made music a part
of our family life. My wife, Verna, plays the guitar and sings. Our third daughter, Karen (Johnson), graduated from Utah State University in Piano Pedagogy.
Our second daughter, Sarah (Wentworth), also plays piano. Both sang in choirs while in
high school.
Our youngest daughter, Alison also enjoys singing and has been taking vocal lessons. She sings in the choir at West High School. Even our oldest daughter, Emily (Tanner), took piano and dance lessons despite being Deaf. My own talent is being able to put the CD in the player and listen. In recent years, I've been collecting music and currently own about 2000 albums -- mostly CDs. I still have some vinyl LPs and cassette tapes. I also have several albums that I have purchased and downloaded online but haven't yet burned to CD. |
